Note that long lines can form in front of the castle keep on busy days. To skip the line, purchase e-tickets in advance through Klook. You will then receive a QR code which allows you to skip the regular line and directly enter the castle.
The easiest way to reach Osaka Castle from Nipponbashi Station is by subway. Take the Sakaisuji Line to Sakaisuji-Hommachi Station, then transfer to the Chuo Line bound for Morinomiya. Get off at Morinomiya Station and use Exit 3-B, which leads directly toward Osaka Castle Park.
The journey takes about 15 minutes and costs around ¥240 one way.

If you get out from Exit 3-B at Morinomiya Station, you will be the closest to Osaka Castle. It’s just a short walk from there.
Sumiyoshi Taisha is in southern Osaka, just a few steps from Sumiyoshi Taisha Station on the Nankai Main Line (10 minutes, 240 yen from Nankai Namba by local train). Please note that express trains do not stop there.
You can also take the Hankai Tram from Tennoji (15 minutes, 230 yen) and get off at Sumiyoshitorii-mae or Sumiyoshi, both right next to the shrine.

From Namba Takashimaya, you can easily visit Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine.
Just go to Nankai Namba Station (right next to Takashimaya) and take the Nankai Main Line.

Sumiyoshitaisha Station
When you get off at Sumiyoshi Taisha Station (Nankai Main Line), please use the East Exit. After leaving the exit, follow the sign that says “Sumiyoshi Taisha →”. Walk straight for about 2–3 minutes, and you will reach the large stone torii gate (Ichino-Torii) of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine. The shrine is very close to the station, making it easy to visit.

From Kawaii Osaka at 1-9 Sōemon-machi to the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living (Osaka Kurashi no Konjyakukan), taking a taxi is the quickest and easiest way. Using public transit involves transfers and walking, which adds time. By taxi you go directly and save travel time.

How to Access the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living The easiest way to reach the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living is from Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station.
From the station, follow the signs toward Exit 3.
You will see a passageway marked “(Housing Information Center)” – enter this underground walkway.
Walk straight through the passage, and take the elevator up to the 8th floor.
You will arrive directly at the entrance of the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living.
This is the most convenient and direct route to the museum.
