Difference between Kimono and Yukata

A Kimono is a traditional Japanese outfit that is usually worn for formal occasions such as weddings or ceremonies. It is often made of silk, worn in several layers, and styled with many accessories, which makes it more elegant and complex to wear.

A Yukata is a more casual version of a kimono that people typically wear in the summer. It is made of light materials like cotton, worn without layers, and is much easier and more comfortable to put on, especially for festivals or relaxing at hot spring inns.

In short, a kimono is formal and traditional, while a yukata is casual and mainly worn in warm weather.

We also rental Yukata from June! A lot of Japanese wear Yukata to go see fireworks and Omatsuri.

We are looking forward to see you guys at KAWAII OSAKA! Thanks for watching:)
